Home school-home service
This service is offered to and from Kamýk, Libuš and Vlastina schools. There are generally sixteen bus lines covering most of the city. The school has a fleet of five mini buses and co-operates with partner transport providers. The routing of the buses is dependent upon demand in certain areas and is run on a no-profit basis.
Children are collected outside their homes (or occasionally a central pick up point is agreed) and driven to school. After school, children are driven home.
The home-school-home service is available to all children older than 4 years. Younger children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
There is a charge for this service which is outlined in the School Bus Application Form.
School Buses
The school has a fleet of five mini buses, four new Mercedes-Benz Sprinters and one Mercedes Vito. All mini buses were made especially for the needs of our school and have comfortable seating for 22 children (Mercedes Vito - 8 seats). All seats are equipped with three point seat belts and for smaller children we also use booster seats. The children can enjoy watching DVD’s during longer journeys.
The school buses service the Blue, Red, Yellow, and Grey lines. In addition they are also used to take children for swimming lessons and to various school trips. The buses are fully equipped, air conditioned and have luggage space at the back. School buses are GPS monitored. School buses are also monitored by internal and external cameras.
The school employs qualified bus drivers with many years of experience. They are regularly trained and strictly observe the driving hours and rest time regulations.
External Buses
To offer flexible service and cover more areas of Prague, our school co-operates with external transport companies. Currently White, Orange, Lime, Burgundy, Ruby, Beige, Green, Silver, Gold, Pink, Purple and Cream lines are operated by our partner transport companies. There are permanent and reliable drivers on all bus lines.
Departure times and maps
The buses depart at the end of the school day (Kamýk 3:35 pm, Libuš 3:41 pm, Vlastina 3:35 pm). There is a separate AFTER CLUB bus service from Kamyk and Libuš which leaves at 4.35pm/4:41 pm and drops at Kačerov, Smíchov,, Vinohrady and Průhonice.

Registration for home-school-home service
The school accepts new children all year round. Please be aware that the bus timetables could be slightly changed if a new child is added on the bus line or parents cancel transport. Parents will be informed in time in case of any changes.

School Bus Fee
The cost for home – school – home service is 75.000, - CZK per child for the Academic Year 2023/24 (10 months). There is a reduced cost for families with 2 children (134.000,-CZK/school year) and 3 children (195.000,-CZK/school year). All prices include VAT. Invoices for the transport fee are issued yearly or termly.
The cost for home – school – home service is 78.000, - CZK per child for the Academic Year 2024/25 (10 months). There is a reduced cost for families with 2 children (140.000,-CZK/school year) and 3 children (204.000,-CZK/school year). All prices include 12 % VAT.
Cancellation of home-school-home service
If your child is ill, or your family leave for holidays during the school year, please contact the driver by sms as soon as possible so that the bus does not have to drive to your house and wait. To cancel a single afternoon journey for primary school children please make change request in your child´s diary in SchoolsBuddy.
IF you wish to cancel school bus transport during the school year or make permanent changes, please do so in writing at least 14 days in advance (email: transport@pbis.cz).
