Let's face it, everybody could do with some extra time in their day...
Extra Time is our very own after school child minding service, available for all primary children from Nursery - Year 6 and runs at both our Kamýk & Vlastina sites, from 3pm - 6pm, every school day.
Our Extra Time service conveniently provides parents with the possibility to collect their children from school much later than when the regular school day ends at 3 p.m., and offers the peace of mind that the children will be well looked after and entertained in an environment they know well.
All children that attend Extra Time receive a complimentary snack, prepared by Lion Catering, and have the option to complete homework, read, participate in a range of fun structured activities, play games and sports or simply relax.
How much does Extra Time cost?
We charge a flat daily rate to use the Extra Time anytime between 3pm - 6pm. If you will be booking more than one child on the same day a sibling discount may apply. We also have a Happy Hour rate available for children that attend only between 15:00 - 16:00.

How do I book my child into Extra Time?
Bookings can be made at any time, either as a one-off request or as a regular weekly booking on a particular day. If you wish to make a new booking, please use SchoolsBuddy (see the tutorial at the end of this page). If you wish to modify an existing booking you should contact the Extra Time Manager directly. Please note there are three types of Extra Time bookings: HAPPY HOUR, LATE SESSION, or FULL SESSION.
What does the complimentary snack consist of?
The Extra Time snacks consist of a prepared sandwich or bread roll, a drink (water or fruit juice) and a piece of fruit or vegetable.
How do I collect my child from Extra Time?
Parents should collect their kids in the Extra Time room at Kamýk (E203) or Vlastina (V102). It is possible the children and staff could be outside - the Extra Time managers will indicate this via appropriate signage.
What if my child has an after school club?
Children can be booked into Extra Time and still participate in after-school activities. If your child's activity finishes at 4 p.m. the activity leader will be informed that the child should join Extra Time once the activity has finished. If your child has a club or music lesson starting later than 3 p.m., the Extra Time Managers will ensure that your child gets to their activity in time. Children can still re-join Extra Time once their lesson has finished.
What do I do if I need to cancel an Extra Time booking?
If you know that your child will not be able to attend a booked Extra Time session we ask that you inform the Extra Time Manager directly as soon as possible, so that they can cancel the session for you. Extra Time sessions should be cancelled by 1 pm, otherwise the entire cost has to be paid.
