We are ready to party !
If you are looking for a way to celebrate your child's birthday then why not try our Extra Time party service.
Parties can be held Monday - Friday, from 3 pm - 5:30 pm at school, making it an ideal way to get classmates together to celebrate.
Our experienced Extra Time team can prepare games and activities for the event, according to your child's chosen theme. With over 200 parties already hosted you can be sure that our team understands the essential ingredients of a fun and memorable party.
What ages are the parties suitable for?
How many children can attend an Extra Time party?
Extra Time parties are suitable for groups of between 10 and 20 children.
Where does the party take place?
The party snacks and cake celebration usually take place in the dining room. The rest of the party programme utilises a variety of spaces and resources on the school grounds, and is often determined by the needs of the programme.
How are children invited?
Formal party invitations will be sent to the parents of all children invited via the school's SchoolsBuddy system, where parents will be asked to consent to their child's participation. This will ensure that the school is automatically notified of the children attending the party and can coordinate the children's after school schedule on the day.
Though not required, your child can also distribute informal party invitations to their classmates - indeed, this is a great way for your child to get involved in the organisation of the party, and build excitement ahead of the big day. If you will be distributing invitations in class, it is important to include the following information:
- The name of the child who is celebrating the party.
- The finish time (5 pm or 5:30 pm).
- That children should be collected from the dining room at the end of the party.
- That parents should confirm their child's participation in SchoolsBuddy. (All invitations appear in the child's diary.)
What is a typical party schedule?
No two parties are ever the same, as we always adapt the schedule to accommodate the specific desires of each child. However a typical party schedule may look something like this:
15:00 - 15:20 | Children are collected from their class by the ExtraTime team. |
15:20 - 15:40 | Children have a prepared snack and refreshments in the dining room. |
15:40 - 16:30 | Party games and activities. |
16:30 - 17:00 | Treasure hunt (prepared according to the chosen theme). |
17:00 - 17:30 | Birthday cake celebration in the dining room. |
Is it possible to finish earlier?
Yes. We often suggest the earlier finish time of 5pm for younger children. The programme will adjust according to the chosen finish time.
How much does it cost?
Extra Time parties are charged at 370 CZK per child. This covers all planning, materials for games and activities and full supervision of the children on the day. This fee however does not include the cost of any catering.
How can I organise the catering for my child's party?
Parents can choose how they would like to arrange this. Parents are welcome to bring food and drinks from home, or from an external catering company, or alternatively it is possible to arrange all of your catering needs with the school's own catering supplier, Lion Catering.
