At PBIS, we passionately believe that learning a musical instrument is essential for a child's holistic development, enhancing both personal growth and academic achievement.
Beyond our weekly classroom music lessons, we offer students the opportunity to receive personalized instruction from our dedicated team of visiting instrumental teachers. Through our partnerships with the International School of Music and Fine Art, and Prague Arts & Culture, we provide lessons for a variety of instruments such as violin, flute, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, piano, and many more.

Extra Curricular Ensembles
We expect that as soon as students are technically able, they will join one of the many PBIS ensembles, contributing to the creative life of the school.
ABRSM Exams
We strongly encourage students to follow the ABRSM music syllabus and examination pathway. This provides students with a solid foundation in a variety of genres and styles and provides motivation as they work their way through the eight grades.
Teachers
Through collaboration with our partner school, the International School of Music and Fine Art (ISMFA), and our own PBIS in-house with Prague Arts and Culture , we are able to teach a large selection of instruments and genres.
Many of the teachers are distinct personalities in the Czech music scene (classical as well as jazz and rock) and are also active performers.
Lesson Times
Lessons can be arranged at school or at home (with home tuition provided by ISMFA teachers) and can start in school as soon as your application has been processed.
