Day 1 checklist

The most important thing to bring on Day 1 is a smile! Each year more than 200 new children start at PBIS. All staff and families at school are very experienced in welcoming new children. Typically there will be over 150 new children starting at the beginning of the school year and more than 50 children starting during the course of the year.

Parental advice!

Please make sure that your child gets a good night's sleep before the first day. It will certainly help if your child has had the opportunity to visit the school before Day 1, however even if they have not, please reassure them that the children and teachers are all very friendly and enjoy having new children start!

New Parent Induction Day

For families starting at the beginning of the school year we organise a new parent induction day when both parents and children can come to school to see their new classroom and meet their new teacher. You will be able to organise your parents' ID cards and have any last minute questions answered.
