English Explorers is a dynamic, academically enriched summer camp for children aged six to twelve who are learning English as an additional language. The programme blends focused morning learning with the fun and discovery of varied afternoon activities.
Each morning, students learn in small, ability‑grouped classes led by experienced PBIS teachers, ensuring personalised support and the right level of challenge. Daily themed lessons combine grammar, vocabulary, and conversation, with take‑home materials to reinforce progress beyond the camp.
In the afternoons, children enjoy creative, physical, and exploratory activities—both on campus and around Prague—that naturally build on the morning’s learning. Through teamwork, hands‑on projects, and real‑world communication, students develop confidence and fluency in an engaging, supportive setting.
Open to PBIS and non‑PBIS students alike, English Explorers is an ideal way for children to boost their English skills, build confidence, and prepare for the new school year while enjoying a memorable summer experience.

5-Day Camp:
10th – 14th August 2026
Each morning, students take part in theme‑based English lessons that blend grammar, text work, vocabulary building, and guided conversation. Small ability‑grouped classes allow teachers to tailor support, keeping learning focused, personal, and engaging. A new theme each day keeps lessons fresh, while take‑home materials help students continue practising at their own pace.
Afternoons are dedicated to a lively mix of creative and physical activities, designed to bring the day’s language theme to life. Students take part in on‑campus projects such as art, STEM challenges, cooking, drama, and sports, complemented by off‑campus excursions that offer real‑world opportunities to use English. These sessions encourage teamwork, curiosity, and confidence, ensuring each afternoon is enjoyable and meaningfully connected to the morning’s learning.

Can children outside of PBIS attend?
Yes, of course! The English Explorers programme is open to the wider community as well as PBIS students.
My child is a complete beginner in English, can they still attend?
Absolutely! English Explorers is designed to support children at a wide range of English proficiency levels, including complete beginners. Students learn in small, ability‑grouped classes, allowing our experienced PBIS teachers to tailor lessons to each child's starting point and provide the right level of support.
The camp’s theme‑based, blended approach focuses on building familiarity with English through clear, structured lessons alongside enjoyable, practical activities. Beginners benefit from a gentle introduction to key vocabulary, simple grammar, and everyday communication, all reinforced through creative projects, movement, teamwork, and real‑world interactions in the afternoons.
Our goal is to help every child, whether new to the language or building on prior knowledge, gain confidence, develop essential skills, and feel positively engaged with English in a supportive, encouraging environment.
