SUMMER FUN TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The Summer Fun programme is open to all children aged 4 – 13 years
old between the hours of 8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m on the following dates: Monday
13th July – Friday 17th July, Monday 20th July – Friday 24th July,
Monday 27th – Friday 31st July, Monday 3rd August – Friday 7th August, Monday
10th August – Friday 14th August and Monday 17th August – Friday 21st
August 2020.
2. All bookings should be submitted using the online form and will be
formally confirmed via email. Places in each group are strictly limited
and all bookings will be subject to availability on the requested dates.
3. All Summer Fun fees should be paid in full no
later than 14 days after the issuance of the invoice. Places are only confirmed
upon payment.
4. Bookings may be cancelled with a full refund up until 14 days
before your child's scheduled start date at Summer Fun. After which time
refunds will only be payable for cancellations due to medical reasons, which
must be supported by a signed doctor's certificate.
5. Any children that are unwell or present any of
the symptoms associated with Covid-19 (including cough; temperature higher than 37°C;
fatigue; runny nose; sore throat; loss of appetite, taste or smell; headache; nausea; vomiting or diarrhea) must stay at home.
6. If a child has been absent due to sickness,
they can only re-join the Summer Fun programme with a signed doctor’s note
stating that they are fit to participate.
7. If a child presents Covid-19 related symptoms
whilst attending Summer Fun they will be taken to an isolation room and parents
will be expected to collect their child as soon as possible.
8. In accordance with the directives issued by the Ministry of
Health for the Czech Republic, in the event of a positive Covid-19 infection of
a child participating in the camp, or a member of staff involved in the running
of the camp, then the camp will be terminated with immediate effect.
9. If your child presents symptoms associated
with Covid-19 up to 14 days following their participation in Summer Fun,
parents are obligated to inform their local health authority and notify us at the
earliest possible time by writing to: summerfun@pbis.cz
10. If the Summer Fun Programme is unable to operate due to a positive
Covid-19 infection, health & safety concerns or any other circumstances out
of our control, fees will be refunded for the days affected.
11. All parents must complete
a health declaration form, submit a recent medical certificate verifying their child's medical fitness, and provide a copy of their
child's valid health insurance card when bringing their child to the camp on
their first day.
12. Whilst your child attends Summer Fun we have your permission to do
all of the scheduled activities with them, including external trips in and
around Prague and you consent to their transportation on school buses operated
by the Prague British International School s.r.o.
13. Should your child sustain an injury while in attendance at Summer
Fun, the camp leaders have your permission to request medical assistance from
the emergency section of the Children’s Emergency Hospital. This will only be
done after we have tried all possible ways to contact you or the designated
emergency contact person. The school will take necessary precautions to ensure
the safety of your child, but can in no way be held accountable for any injury
your child may incur while attending the Summer Fun programme.
14. The drop off and collection of children will
take place from designated locations, where a member of the Summer Fun team
will be available to collect your child. Parents will not permitted to enter
the school building for the duration of the camp.
15. The morning drop off time for Summer Fun is between 8.30 – 9.15
a.m. Please do not bring your child to school earlier than 8.30 a.m., as we
cannot guarantee that staff will be available to supervise your child at that
time.
16. Programmed activities will start each day at 9.15 a.m., so please
ensure that your child is on site by this time, otherwise it may delay our
departure from the school for an external trip. If you know you are going to be
late bringing your child to school you should call the camp leaders directly and inform them of your arrival time as
soon as possible.
17. All children must be collected each day before 5.00 p.m. It is
possible to collect your children from school any time between 4.15 p.m. and
5.00 p.m. If, for any reason, you are going to be late collecting your child
from the school you should call the camp leaders directly. We reserve the right to withdraw children from the programme whose
parents who are repeatedly late collecting their child.
18. We expect a certain standard of behaviour from the children. The
camp leader will inform parents if their child’s behaviour has not been
acceptable. We reserve the right to withdraw children from the programme who
are repeatedly misbehaving.
19. It is your responsibility to ensure that your child has all of
their belongings. We cannot be responsible for loss or damage to anything
brought to Summer Fun from home. We ask that all personal property brought to
the camp is clearly named.
PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
After submitting this form you will receive an invoice for the
total amount by email. Payments for Summer Fun should be made by bank transfer
to the account no: 4200059937/6800.
